Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 July 2026

1. Purpose

These terms of use govern access to and use of the Gigs.ma platform. By accessing the platform you accept them in full.

2. Services

Gigs.ma connects individuals (clients) with home-service providers. Gigs.ma is not a party to the contracts concluded between them: the service agreement is made directly between client and provider, and performing it is their responsibility alone.

3. Registration

Registration is open to any natural person aged 18 or over, who must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. One account per person. Registration is free at launch; any future pricing would apply to providers and be announced in advance.

4. Becoming a provider

Public registration creates a client account. Provider status is not freely available: it requires an application, reviewed by our team, and is granted only once that application is accepted. No listing can be published before that step.

5. Price and payment

The rate shown on a listing is indicative. The final amount is proposed by the provider once they have seen the request, then accepted by the client before the job; that accepted amount is what binds the parties. Settlement happens directly between client and provider once the job is done. Gigs.ma offers no online payment, collects no money on behalf of providers, and takes no commission on transactions.

6. Provider obligations

Providers undertake to deliver quality work, keep appointments, communicate professionally, and hold every qualification, insurance and authorisation legally required for the services they offer. Gigs.ma does not verify those qualifications: the "verified" badge attests only to a check of the identity document submitted.

7. Client obligations

Clients undertake to provide accurate information when booking, to be present at the appointment or cancel within the stated period, and to pay the provider the agreed amount for the work performed.

8. Reviews and ratings

Only a client whose booking was completed may rate a provider. Reviews must be honest, respectful and based on a real experience. Gigs.ma may remove a review that breaches these principles or the law.

9. Liability

Gigs.ma acts as a technical intermediary and cannot be held liable for the quality, safety or legality of the services provided, nor for the performance of payment obligations between the parties. In case of disagreement a mediation service is offered: our team reads both sides and issues a written decision. That mediation is neither arbitration nor a refund guarantee, since settlement takes place off the platform.
